BACK TO THE OFFICE- how to take care of our team’s mental health and wellbeing as we head back on-site after the pandemic

Join us in this 90-minute, interactive session with Wellbeing Facilitator Alice Lyons to gain the tools and confidence you need to help your team head back to the office this Autumn, with a  complimentary follow-up consultation to galvanise your action plan.

  • Learn how to lead compassionately from the front, with a strong focus on team wellbeing

INTRO

The pandemic has thrown a slew of new challenges at our businesses – the biggest of all being it’s impact on the mental health and wellbeing of our teams. Now, as the summer draws to a close, many of us are looking towards bringing team members back into the office.

  • So, how can we make sure we’re doing this in a way that is helpful and supportive of our team members?
  • How can we make the transition back to the office as comfortable, seamless and productive as possible, keeping team wellbeing and client satisfaction front of mind?
  • How can we, as leaders, make sure we are supporting our own wellbeing while we look out for others and lead from the front?

  • Quick ice-breaker to meet the other business owners and leaders in the room – share the concerns you have about returning to the office so we can give you some solutions during the session
  • Thinking about the road ahead: preparing for the challenges, and also, opportunities ahead of us
  • Comms, comms, comms – top tips for communicating the transition with your team members
  • Wellbeing 101 – simple tactics for looking after your own wellbeing first, then expanding this awareness to support your team / Golden rules for prioritising team mental health
  • It’s good to talk – how to have safeguarding conversations with team members who may be struggling
  • Summary and final questions (the session will be interactive throughout, but we will leave time for additional questions at the end)
  • Next steps: how to access further support from Alice

THIS COURSE IS FOR YOU IF:

You are a business owner or team leader who is worried about the return to the office. You care about your team and want to make this transitional time more comfortable and seamless for everyone involved.  This session is also suitable for leaders of teams who have already partly moved back to the office, or are operating with a hybrid model, and would like ideas for helping with the wellbeing challenges you are already experiencing.

You acknowledge that the next few months will be a challenging time, so you would like practical ideas to help you lead the return to the office and support your team, in a way that doesn’t monopolise your time or become a burden. You want to learn ways to support yourself and your leadership team as these changes come into play. You care about your business performance and want to learn how to ease the discomfort and difficulty of the upcoming changes for your team without affecting client experience.

What to expect:

This session is a live, interactive Zoom workshop that will blend presentation slides with group discussions to help embed the learning.

The benefit of having different business owners in the room is that you have an opportunity to learn from each other as well as your facilitator, so we recommend that you keep your camera on at all times to make the session more engaging. Microphones will be enabled for most of the session and, depending on numbers, we may do small group discussions in breakout rooms. You will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout unless otherwise specified e.g. due to time limitations.

Joining instructions will be sent in an email ahead of the session, so please check your spam or email alice@mpostcode.co.uk if you do not have them at least 24 hours ahead of time.

Slides will be made available after the session on request, but we recommend taking notes throughout and making the most of the opportunity to ask questions and receive direct support from your facilitator.

You will also receive a complimentary 20-minute follow-up consultation to ask any confidential questions or any other queries you may have around personal or team wellbeing. The session will not be recorded, so please make sure you are able to attend on the date and time shown.
